I was once a Evangelical Christian. I did the whole laying on of hands, speaking in tongues and general spouting of hate. Of course I didn't realize that is what I was doing. I thought what I was doing was spreading love. I consider myself blessed that I was able to break free of the bondage of religion and can now express my true self.
A great man once said, "You must be the change that you want to see in the world." I hope to change every day.
Am I supposed to take it as a real quote? I hope not. It's too hilarious to take seriously. lol
Some sects/denominations believe people are born Christian, but I'm not too familiar with them and forgot which. I believe it's a personal decision everyone has to make that you can't be born into nor have decided for you by another. That'd be great though if according to Christianity everyone were going to heaven regardless of a decision, but I don't know of any Scripture that supports it. It'd also be great if there were no hell in Christianity; just saying. I wonder which do believe that you're born a Christian though?
