I was once a Evangelical Christian. I did the whole laying on of hands, speaking in tongues and general spouting of hate. Of course I didn't realize that is what I was doing. I thought what I was doing was spreading love. I consider myself blessed that I was able to break free of the bondage of religion and can now express my true self.
A great man once said, "You must be the change that you want to see in the world." I hope to change every day.
Idiot Test # 17
If you think Tim McVeigh, an agnostic who committed a politically motivated act of terrorism, was a "Christian Terrorist", then you are an idiot who loses an argument with her own strawman.
Was Tim McVeigh agnostic and does it matter?
I could spend some time typing out my feelings on this matter, but quite frankly that would be redundant. Someone else has already typed my feelings out quit eloquently. So, I will simply post a link to that blog post. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did.
I don't mind them building a mosque. I know it's not at Ground Zero. I think it's silly and religious discrimination. This is America. ALL people should be allowed to follow their faiths or lack of one. I'm getting tired of people trying to take that away from various different religious groups just because they believe differently.
Yeah, I hate it when Christians misrepresent the teachings of Christ by, well, not being Christian or following Christ what-so-ever. It's really sad. Not to mention horrible that those things happened at all.
And believe it or not, but not all Muslims are terrorists! lol
