Character and Comic Development

If you have been reading God Hates Bambi for a while I'm sure you have noticed that things have started happening other than a punchline joke. To be honest, I never expected this comic to last more than a week or two. The response I have been getting from my readers is incredible and has kept me going week after week. Today is actually comic #71.

Anyway, as I have been working with these characters I have come to know them very well. They each have back story, dreams and goals. Inevitably, story lines have started to develop. As the characters develop, so does the comic. I hope you guys enjoy the direction that God Hates Bambi is going. More regular characters are coming along very soon and there will be a few story arcs. But one of the major changes is that not every comic will be a punchline. But I hope that every comic will at least make an important point.

Thanks for staying with me guys. My fans are the greatest!

Crowning Moment of Awesome, anyone?
Ted just earned my respect. He's starting to show that he can think for himself, and that - at heart - he isn't a bad person, just... misinformed.

And the fact that he stunned Bambi speechless in a good way is hilariously cool. :D

I agree, as much fun as it was to see Ted repeatedly make a fool of himself, it's even better to see some character development. :3
